Forest Stewardship Council certification

As part of Whitehall Printing's commitment to the environment, and to help lessen our impact on it, we successfully underwent Forest Stewardship Council certification in September 2009.

FSC certification is widely accepted to be the most stringent around and unlike other schemes, the emphasis is on tracking fibre all the way from the forest to the end user, so that, you and your customers, can be certain of the fibre’s origins.

The FSC scheme is supported by groups such as Greenpeace and WWF.

FSC 'chain of custody' certification tells our customers that the wood in a paper or board product is from a certified forest, controlled source or recycled.

By being FSC accredited our customers can benefit by printing an 'on-product' claim to their job which will, not only, add value to their printed products but also demonstrate their own environmental awareness.

Our 'chain of custody' is audited by an independent FSC accredited certification body at regular intervals. Every link in the supply chain from the forest to Whitehall Printing needs their own chain of custody certificate.
